One of the great challenges facing anyone opening a new practice or adding/replacing technology in a recently acquired practice is what type of equipment to purchase for upgrades and what to look for in that technology (features, construction, functions etc)
From automated phoroptors instead of manual ones, tilt vs articulated chairs, hand-held tonometers vs. slit lamp mounted tonometers, the choices to be made are many. We have collected information about making these choices and the some of the options available. Some of the information comes directly from manufacturers and will obviously promote their products, but there is a lot of good information in any informational piece.
